Comparison of the effectivity between ciprofloxacin drop 0.3 % and chloramphenicol 3 % inthe management of active benign chronic otitis media

The purpose of the study is determine the effectivity of ciprofloxacin 0.3% compared with chloramphenicol 3%. Subject were ambulatory patien at the EMT Departement of Dr. Sarjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta between February and September 1999. Subject were active benign chrinic otitis media patients and they were devided into 2 groups, ciprofloxacin group and chloramphenicol group (each 43 patien)
